WHY I'm tan free
You've heard the stats and figures associated with the dangers of tanning. You know suntanned skin is damaged skin. Also, that tanning today for cosmetic reasons has the opposite effect tomorrow.
But don't take our word for it. Take theirs.
"I was a sun worshipper in my teens and 20s and also a lifeguard. I'm paying for it every day of my life. I have skin cancer. I had basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell cancer. Squamous is a killer if not detected early."
-Dana Fleming, TV host and voiceover artist
"I like being outdoors and enjoying the sun in safe and responsible ways. There isn't enough education on the topic [skin cancer] and people are putting themselves at-risk."
-Tyrell, model, Hoffman International Model & Talent Agency
